It's SO empty in NYC today that...
- Cabs are hailing me.
- I got in and out of the Trader Joe's on 14th Street in 20 minutes (and I bought stuff!).
- There were six parking spots on my block when I walked the dog this morning.
- There is no line for the noon showing of Twilight Eclipse at the Beekman theater.
- Not a single person on the subway ride downtown was standing at the top of the steps completing a cellphone call. As a matter of fact, not a single person was standing at the top of the steps!
- Not a single person on the bus ride uptown answered a cell phone call during my ride home.
- And I was able to take this picture.
