I Didn't Get the Wreath Memo

My apartment building has 15 apartments on each floor. This year, my apartment on the second floor is the only one with a holiday wreath on the door. Of course, I didn't expect to see the beautiful white feather wreath on 2C because the lady who lives there is in a nursing home, but no others! Have wreaths become politically incorrect? Is it the economy? Is hanging a pagan symbol of welcome a "green gaffe"? a religious insult? Do young people pay so much rent that they don't have anything left over for decorating? Is Christmas dead????????

I think my lonely wreath will hang even longer than usual this year unless someone explains to me why it shouldn't.
