The Gil Hodges Community Garden, an interesting mix of NYC old and new, recently reopened in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn. The space at Carroll Street and Denton Place was renovated with funds from
NYRP (New York Restoration Project) a non-profit started by Bette Midler to save and refurbish community gardens in NYC.
