Incongruities

no, not balloons...fitness balls!

the people in that room had a bit too much to drink last night,

and are sleeping in this morning!

I try to take a camera with me whenever I am out and about in NYC. Just having it makes me "see" differently. Things that I wouldn't normally even notice because they are so commonplace, grab my attention. I have even begun looking for "incongruities"...things that even I (jaded New Yorker that I am) don't immediately understand. I create a context for the photo in my head, ie a likely explanation or backstory to make sense of what I've noticed.

Like these two photos taken on a recent trip to the Tribeca area of Manhattan...what happened in that hotel room last night and are those balloons?
